On Wednesday, June 24th - CHILDREN SUMMER READING officially starts. Have a Starship Adventure this summer when you sign up for the summer reading program. Go to www.readsinma.org/dighton/ to sign up and record the time you spend reading this summer. Prizes will be awarded to children for reaching reading goals in their age group.

On Monday, June 29th - ADULT SUMMER READING officially starts. Participants can pick up reading logs starting on June 25th. The reading log is a grid with nine squares. Readers are asked to read one book in a variety of genres (i.e. mystery, historical fiction, memoir, etc...)

Readers receive a "sweet" incentive prize for every three squares they fill in on the grid. If they fill in the whole grid, they can turn in their reading log (with name and phone #) to be entered into the grand prize drawing (a bookstore gift certificate.)

The program lasts 8 weeks. All logs must be turned in no later than August 28th to be eligible for the grand prize drawing.

Unabridged audio books are allowed, but no more than two books can be audio.
