Preschool - 12th grade can sign up for the Wild Reads Summer Reading Program online, or at the library.


To join online, go to http://www.readsinma.org/dighton/ and click on the summer reading program. Start keeping track of the time you spend reading after June 30th and pick up a prizes at the libary for the hours you read!

                             Preschool - 4th grade : 3 hours
                                          5th - 8th grade: 4 hours
                                        9th - 12th grade: 6 hours

 

Hilda the Hippo is on the Move!!!

Look for Hilda as part of the Wild Reads Summer Reading Program at the Dighton Public Library.  Our little hippo Hilda can usually be found in the Children’s Room at the library.  However, she will be hitting the road for the summer and spending time in a different Dighton business each week during the summer reading program.  

Hilda's vacation will begin on Monday, June 23.  
When you see Hilda around town, come into the library and tell Ms. Lorie where you saw her.  You will get some candy if you are correct.  Some ofthe businesses that Hilda will be visiting (and not in any particular order) are:

Mechanics Bank
Dighton Surplus Supply
Dighton House of Pizza
Reeds Produce Stand
Johnny’s Market
Classic Barbershop
Dunkin’ Donuts
Araujo Farms
